Challenge Exhaustion

I am on day 3 of my Quarantine Fifteen health/Wellness challenge. Day one qas great. I began getting a small headache at the end of the day which went into a constant headache on day 2. Part of the challenge was no diet soda or artificial sweetners. I happened to quit diet soda the start day of the challenge which was not smart. Today, I woke up sans headache🙌🏾 however I definitely woke up exhausted, drained, sore and a tad crabby! It seems the artificial sweeteners and pumping my body with caffeine has had more of an effect on me than I had noticed while ingesting them.

My calorie intake is set at 1800 for the day however I do not add more calories when I work out. Those calories expended are simply expended. It is easier for me to set a slightly higher intake and not worry about the calorie influx from working out. The last 2 mornings I have awakened extremely hungry. I am the worse at logging my food so I am unsure what my calorie i take was prior to this challenge. I am pretty darn sure my calorie intake was over 2500 calories a day based off of how HUNGRY I am!!

I have been reading a lot of blogs and medical journals which suggest the first 3 days of any major change to your body is the hardest and then everything magically improves. I am compelled to believe this die to my headache dissipating after 2 days! I am very excited to do this challenge. I have been wanting to tone up and finish slimming down for months bit I have not been doing what it takes to get past my plateau. After my workout today, I get to have my rest day from working out!!
