I have decided to do a 21 day body reset by drinking only water and eating raw low glycemic vegetables and limited amounts of low glycemic fruits (link to a low glycemic foods list is below). I felt so controlled by my dietary daily routines and felt a need to pause from my routine to give my body/digestive track a little rest. Yesterday was day one.

The entire day one was wonderful…until it was absolute hell ๐Ÿ˜ซ. I awakened excited, went to work, came home and all was well. I most definitely wasn’t craving any foods because it was the day after Thanksgiving. My water intake was constantly flowing, my veggies were good and then….BAM!! Around 630pm (ironically about 24 hours from my last meal) I had a HORRENDOUS headache. I would have been fine with just a headache but suddenly body chills, sweating and nausea hit! I felt like I had a very sudden onset of the worse flu in the world.

I felt so horrible that I used my 24/7 doctor’s office care telehealth service to make sure I wasn’t going to hurt myself by trying to help myself. Turns out, starting any type of a body detox the day after Thanksgiving is a HORRIBLE idea. I wasn’t able to properly set my body up for this drastic transition and reduce my caffeine intake. I was drinking atleast 4 cups a coffee a day AND drinking pre-workout prior to my workouts๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ. My body was LITERALLY detoxing from the caffeine. I went from caffeine city to nothing. Not smart. Not smart at ALL. Doc told me to just ride it out and if it got too bad to make a cup of greentea and drink it before bed. If I want to ease my no caffeine transition, tomorrow I could make a gallon batch of water with one teabag of green tea (with caffeine) and sip that gallon all day. I am to repeat this process of green tea water- drinking less and less of this water until I am winged off caffeine. Option 2 is skip this step and go to bed, wake up with a possible worse headache and ride out the day. I should feel better by day 3. My Choice? Ride it out and go to bed. I am already in the eye of the storm. I will see how I feel day 2. My doctor is on the Saturday 8a-12 rotation and asked me to pop in at 8am to check me out. I will be there! I do not consider myself a woman of many talents. I love my gym time, helping others transition into a healthier pattern eating lifestyle and helping people become a more fit version of themselves. The rest of my life seems to be an example of

I love my kids. The joy my children give me is unexplainable. When I was in my teens and early 20s I was told that it was “very unlikely” I would be able to have kids due to having severe Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I decided
