Lasik Results
After having my 1.5 YEAR eye infection from a very unusual contact breaking in my eye, I was FINALLY able to cure my infection by going on a 2 month antibiotic. Even though my eye doctor said I could wear contacts again about 3 weeks ago, I could fathom placing another contact anywhere NEAR my eyeballs! I was between a rock and a hard place! Do I continue wearing glasses despite my life being extremely complicated with glasses on (try teaching yoga in glasses. Exactly) or bite the bullet and get Lasik?
I had 3 consults with 3 doctors regarding Lasik. The process scared me more than words could express. Nonetheless, I knew it had to be done. I scheduled an appointment with the best Lasik doctor in Northern Colorado and put down my nonrefundable deposit! I was 100% going. It is way too hard to make money just to throw it down the tubes!
Lasik has been one of the best experiences of my LIFE. Zero pain. Zero down time. Zero issues. I see better than Superman! I get the anxiety over Lasik. These are your EYES. I get it! I almost ran out of the door screaming “Nooooooo” down the street in fear! But trust me when I say, Lasik has been fantastic for me. Every day I wake up and can’t believe how fantastic I can see!
Lasik (in my opinion) is definitely not cheap. The procedure for me was about 5 mins TOTAL. Literally almost $1000 a MINUTE when you think about it all but I would do this again. If you can afford Lasik, consider having it done. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made- and I can’t say that sentence a lot in my life! Lol! Lol!
