This is NOT water rentention!

Left: 90 days Keto / Right 30 days Keto

Yesterday I was trying on multiple different items that had nothing to do with clothing. I was trying on my shoes and rings to gauge how this amount of weight gain had affecteed my sizes. My old go to for checking to see how my weight had affected my body was how I felt i.e. tired, lethargic, cranky..etc and my actual clothing size. This time the last 2 years of weight gain was way more than 10lbs or 15lbs so every bit of my body was affected.

My face is fatter. My nose is wider. My shoe size is now a 10.5. I have never had small feet but the largest my feet had been in the past was a size 10 and when I am at my personal desirable weight my shoe size is a 9. During the 3rd trimester of my last pregnancy my feet spread tremendously.

I found a plain gold band I wore for years in lieu of my diamond engagement ring. I wore this ring for atleast 10 years because I am so active with lifting weights, running fitness classes, personal training and running my bootcamps that I didn’t want to lose or damaged ring. I tried this ring on this morning since I start work next Monday bright and early. I was extremely shocked to see this ring barely fit a third of a way down my finger! This ring is a size 8!

Nervous about what size my fingers have gotten I ran to a jewelry store and used the plastic ring sizes to figure out the size of my fingers and settled on a size 10. It is unreal to think my ring finger is a size 10 and my feet are a 10.5. Instead of being traumatized, I will use this as motivation to take life one day at a time, consistently working on my goals.

Moral of this blog post? Fat/weight gain can distribute anywhere and everywhere which means…fat/weight can be lost everywhere!
