Vampire Facial- maskne

My aesthetician talked me into a Vampire Facial today. I was initially scheduled for a hydrofacial today. Our mask mandate is slowly lifting and underneath my mask there is a tremendous amount of maskne scars. Light discoloration (dark spots) have plagued me for months under my mask due to working 6-9 hours a day in a mask! I was assured a Hydrofacial wasn’t aggressive enough for my skin issues! So, I did succumbed to the professionals suggestion!
My skin was numbed with cream for about 30ish mins (I lost track of time checking my emails!) After my skin was numbed, she commenced with the vampire facial and it WAS NOT comfortable. I had a couple of tears in my eyes at some points- mainly the top of my lips!
When I was finished,, my face was super bloody-hence the name “Vampire”. I don’t have an after picture at this time, I just know I better see smooth skin more free of maskne scars in 4-6weeks!
