Consistency = Results

I began using an app to track macros/calories. For me, it is better to track my Macros using an app than calculating them in my own. As I a tracking my Macros, I can see my Calorie usage at the same time.

Today was my “free day” from exercising. I did all of my house choirs yesterday so I could fully enjoy my day of zero plans. I went to the plant store with my neighbor, Costco and came home to prep my food for the week. I became extremely hungry at once. I tore into the rotisserie chicken I purchased from Costco and quickly ate a Greek Salad with oil and vinegar. I was still hungry so I drank a protein shake. I did all of this without logging my take. When I began to log my food I realized very quickly that I was going to be over **AGAIN** in protein and under in fat. I was spot on with my carbs.

What I learned today that THINKING you are on target and KNOWING you are on target are 2 completely different things. Part of being successful is being in the know of your reality and living in your truth. If I would not have logged my food when I did, I would have blown all intake today and honestly would have thought I did a PHENOMENAL job.

This is a 30 day challenge of being persistent with my intentions to be better and do better. It isn’t easy for my personality to log my intake, but I am committing to taking this time to attempt to transition to being more aware. My favorite little saying is consistency = results. I am learning what that means every day.
