Fuel your body

I recently spoke to a ex-client of mine who often very successfully sheds massive amounts of weight by eating 1000 calories a day and exercising insanely by only doing cardio. No matter what I say, this person will cycle with massive weight gain and weightloss over and over. When they gain weight, they contact Me to personal train. They work out for a couple of sessions. When my guidance of slow and steady wins the race and building muscle to maintain a healthy lifestyle isn’tquick enough, they quit and begin limiting their food intake to barely nothing and running. 1-2lbs a week is not quick enough for them.Theu quickly cycle back around to their starvation techniques to shed 5lbd+ a week. When they can’t take the starvation any longer, they binge eat and make poor choices. They rapidly gain weight again.

The last time (today) this client called me, I refused to work with them. I told them I can not support their patterned cycle dietary lifestyle. I referred them to a nutritionist and a doctor who specializes in eating disorders. Their cycle is not in my scope.

I am not a doctor nor a nutritionist. I am a health coach and a personal trainer. I stay in my lane in the wellness industry. What I can tell people is this. Fuel your body with whole, nutrient dense foods. Drink plenty of water. Your body is your temple. Treat your body kindly and with love. Don’t punish your body.
