Reality Check

Elton John Outfit

I was so excited to see Elton John Nov 4th, 2022. He was coming through Denver die to a Concert cancelation in Texas. The moon and the stars could not have aligned any better to Give me the opportunity to see a legend perform. This was his Yellow Brock Road tour. His LAST touring engagement.

Elton John had his 1st “last” tour a year ago and I couldn’t justify spending large quantities of cash on 2 tickets to go. His concert came and left like the wind in 2021 leaving thousands of people in awe of his Greatness. I had clients and friends telling me it was one of the best concerts they had ever seen and the energy/Greatness radiating from the stage was an indescribable feeling. I was frustrated with myself for missing an event that I would not have the opportunity to see again and knew I should have went….but I didn’t. Now, The heavenly skies opened up to gift me a second chance. Second chances hardly happen. I know this! The Universe threw me a bone. I am unsure how Ball arena had the date open Elton John needed to replace but it did. Elton sold his concert out with a 2 week tour notice. Yes, indeed. Being in the room of Greatness is indescribable.

In preparation for this concert, I imagined myself wearing my black Jean dress and high boots. I purchased this dress at the beginning of summer and it fit fabulously. After an entire summer of bbqs, not logging my food, drinking during amazing concerts and traveling- I could no longer button my dress. I ended up putting a corset on under the dress and rocking it anyway. If I can’t fit my dress, I can not fit any other piece of winter clothing in my closet 🤦🏾‍♀️.

This night was fabulous and served as a reminder that consistency is so key to results. I am now back on my logging my food/beverage intake, hitting the gym and drinking my water! Winter is HERE! I refuse to purchase a new wardrobe! I must be back to my consistent behavior.
