What can I eat on Low Carb/Keto?

Eggs – all kinds. Choose Organic eggs if all possible

Vegetables that grow above ground such as lettuce, zucchini, eggplant, olives, spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, bok hoy, kale, dark leafy greens, cauliflower, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage..etc. Please note that if you are trying to remain in ketosis you most likely need to stay under 20 net carbohydrates a day which means you may need to limit portion sizes of certain vegetables higher in net carbohydrate veggies like bell peppers.

Fish/Seafood- all kinds of fatty fish such as herring, salmon, mackerel and sardines

Meat – once again, if possible try to eat grass-fed meats or organic. Feel free to eat any type of meat including beef, pork, game, poultry and lamb.

Natural Fats and high-fat sauces such as cream, butter, coconut fat, olive oil, and vegetable oils.

Dairy – FULL FAT options such as sour cream, high fat cheeses, cream and butter. Be very careful to read labels on milks. Milk can contain a lot of sugar.

BE VERY CAUTIOUS ON CONSUMPTION ON NUTS AND BERRIES. Berries are OKAY in moderation such as blackberries and strawberries. Fruit such that are often classifies as veggies that are okay in moderation are avocado and tomatoes. Nuts are great for a treat in MODERATION.

Consume as much water as you can per day, black coffee with Half and half or full fat cream (like whipping cream), Tea without sugar or additives
